Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Yummii is provided by Goderis, Jerome, located at Charlottalei 31, 2930 Brasschaat, België, registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 1012.329.414. You can reach us at hello@yummii.app.

2. The service

Yummii is an app for saving recipes, creating grocery lists and planning meals.

You can use Yummii without an account. Your data then stays on your device only. With an account you can sync your data across devices, keep a backup and share recipes.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account and for keeping your login details safe.

You can delete your account at any time, see 'Delete account'.

4. Student mode

Students get free access to the premium features and to student recipes and cookbooks through student mode. To use it, you confirm your student status, for example with your college or university email address. We may ask you to do this again periodically.

When your student status ends, free premium access ends too. Your recipes and data stay as they are. Misuse of student mode may lead to it being withdrawn.

5. Your content

Recipes, photos and other content you add remain yours. You only give us the right to store, sync and show that content to the people you choose (for example via a share link or a public recipe).

Don't add content you don't have the rights to, such as other people's photos or texts without permission.

6. Acceptable use

You won't use Yummii for unlawful purposes, to harass others, or to disrupt, abuse or circumvent the service. We may remove content or suspend an account in case of abuse.

7. Food information and allergens

Recipes in Yummii are entered by users or by us. Always check ingredients, allergens and preparation methods yourself. Yummii does not provide medical or nutritional advice.

8. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Yummii working well and securely, but cannot guarantee the service will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will let you know in advance in the app or by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Antwerp, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
